I invite you to give ten minutes of positive attention to your love life. Get comfortable, relax your body, and take in a deep, soothing breath. When you are centered and calm, contemplate this meditation slowly from beginning to end or enjoy intuitively and let your eyes fall on the words that call. Allow the words to caress you. Pay attention! Your responses are messengers that can deepen the heart of your sexuality. When you are complete, select one word, or a combination of words, and reflect upon the significance of your choice throughout the day.
This meditation has several applications. Here are two more suggestions.
As a prelude to lovemaking, use this meditation to set an intention. Light a candle, close your eyes, breathe, and allow your fingers to trail over the entire page - top to bottom, around and around. With your eyes still closed, and when it feels right, let an index finger point to a single spot on the page. Open your eyes and look at the word you have intuitively selected. When your lover has done the same, whisper your words to each other, discuss the meaning of your words, and then embody the essence of your selection while making love.
You may also enjoy reading this meditation to a friend or lover. Set the tone of your environment, play ambient music, and make yourselves comfortable. Read in a poetic cadence with a soft voice. Do not rush. Let the affirmative vibrations imbued within these words wash over you. Which words attract the most attention?
